Personality: Kaiman is a mountain of a man whose personality is just as big and present as he is. He laughs with a wide mouth, chugs down beer with his plates of gyoza, shouts when he's angry, and can be a rather sarcastic shithead. Even if his build was still as slight as it was before he left the name 'Ai' behind, everything about the person known as Kaiman would still be huge. He has little patience, threatens people without pause and is furiously loyal to his friends - so long as they are loyal to him.
Kaiman, along with Nikaido, is known as the Magician Killer. He rarely has qualms or hesitation against taking out a person if they're a magic user, only pausing once when he first encountered Ebisu when he saw that she was a scared little girl (though he didn't pause for long and ripped her face off, which was partly Fujita's faulty 'rescue's fault. Death is a easy thing for him, holding little value for magic users' lives given their tendency to treat humans like insects to be toyed with and fried under a magnifying glass. Though he's not necessarily a savior of humanity, he will still go out of his way to protect a human if he'll somehow gain from it or it doesn't seem like too big of a pain in the ass. He feels no guilt over killing anyone he's offed so far in the series.
But, harming his friends is something he absolutely dreads (likely due to his repressed memories of killing Risu, his best friend during the time he was known as 'Aikawa'). The fear of hurting Nikaido is a an overarching source of dread during the arc of time they spend together in the magic user world traveling with Natsuki. He's a brute, but his friends are precious. He'll go far out of his way for them, especially for Nikaido, to keep them safe. Nikaido, more than anyone, is someone he likely could not stand to see die. He's saved her as many times as she's saved him and he's dedicated to her friendship. He infiltrated En's grounds after Nikaido was taken by him. He risks his life in the boxing ring to save Nikaido from a rigged competition (though her efforts on her side ultimately save him). He inevitably 'dies' protecting her from En when he comes to recapture her. They have plans to spend their lives together and for the person known as 'Kaiman', she is the most important and precious friend he has. Even if the world turns against them, they have each other's backs and are essential to each other at this point in their lives.
Kaiman at this point has been filled in, very quickly, by Nikaido about all of the things he 'missed' while he was 'dead'. Kaiman has amnesia, being a head that hasn't been around as long as 'Ai' or 'Kai' or 'Aikawa'. His identity's name is even unknown, having received the name 'Kaiman' from Nikaido. His amnesia is one of many sources of Kaiman's near constant frustration with the world around him. It's a pretty comical sense of frustration, usually played off as him throwing little hissy fits or big, arm swinging, stomping shout fests. People getting in his way or tricking him, his gyoza getting taken from him, Thirteen hitting on Nikaido, not knowing what's going on due to missing information, or even insistent waiters can set Kaiman steaming.
Still, he's a person filled with humor and is rather boisterous. He's easily amused, laughing quite often. When Nikaido thinks of him, she tends to imagine him laughing widely: Wahahahaha! Even though he's an ultraviolent person with a sometimes dark and sick sense of humor, he's still pretty jovial for a person living in an utter shithole. He's got none of the weight that the other personalities have on them, knowing nothing about his origins and only of good food and the joy of fighting and Nikaido's friendship. It's easy to set him off, but it's also easy to please him. Beer, good food, and something exciting to do are usually the most that he needs.
But even though he's fairly upbeat and relaxed most of the time, he's not always the best with people. He might be a ruthless, self-centered, bloodsoaked murderer, but he almost seems to have a hard time being directly mean to people that aren't threatening his life. He even asks Nikaido to ice Natsuki out when she tries to go with them initially because he can't seem to do it himself. He's not cold. He's completely hot-blood and honesty, and even though he's not charitable, he sometimes gets pulled into doing things for people grudgingly because, despite everything, he's a pretty good person deep down. He tries to play it tough, but he's not a iron wall. Kaiman is even scared of things like ghosts and ghoulies, enough so that he'll scream and jump into Nikaido's arms if he feels their presence around. He doesn't mind violent or gross things, but he hates creepy things.
Kaiman believes in his own immortality. Even though he knows he's died once, he's still pretty forward and overconfident about his abilities. He's pretty good at going all out even in the middle of dying, but he refuses to acknowledge his own finite state. Dying isn't even a possibility in his mind due to his ongoing immunity to magic thanks to the spells compounded on him. He'll jump into any fight with guns a-blazing because, to him, nothing could possibly happen to him. He's indestructible. He's lost his head before without much consequence. There's nothing that can defeat Kaiman and he's not afraid to brag about it. It's why he can mouth off to enemies. It's why he can approach any magic user with furious gusto and challenge them without flinching. Even ones he's been defeated by don't scare him in the slightest.
